Cab Daddy – Cloud Standard Terms of Use
Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using Cab Daddy or by creating an account, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. This forms a legally binding agreement between you and Cab Daddy (“Agreement”).
Introduction and Definitions
Cab Daddy (“Cab Daddy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an online booking and dispatch platform that includes web-based software and mobile applications (collectively, the “Software”). The Software enables users to manage contacts, accept bookings, and handle dispatch operations.
The Software is provided through our websites, including https://cabdaddy.co.uk/ and any other websites, platforms, or services owned or controlled by us (collectively, the “Cab Daddy Site”). Together, the Software and the Cab Daddy Site are referred to as the “Service.”
Cab Daddy is a UK-based limited liability company, trading as Cab Daddy. References to Cab Daddy include our employees, contractors, and authorised representatives (“our Team”).
Any individual or entity using the Service, or representing a company that uses the Service, is referred to as a “Member” (“you” or “your”).
These Cloud Standard Terms of Use (“Terms”), together with our Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Support Guidelines, and Brand Guidelines, govern how the Service may be used. They also explain how we collect, process, and manage data related to you, your contacts, and your end users for the duration of your Agreement.
If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must immediately stop using the Service.
Unless stated otherwise, these Terms also apply to any additional features or services offered within your Cab Daddy account (“Add-ons”). Certain Add-ons may be subject to additional terms and restrictions (“Additional Terms”). By enabling an Add-on, you agree to any applicable Additional Terms.
Some Member accounts may receive access to special or enhanced features based on account status or prior usage history.
Account Terms
1. Opening an Account
By creating an account and accepting these Terms, you enter into an Agreement with Cab Daddy that becomes effective immediately. This Agreement remains in force for as long as your account is active, unless terminated by you or by Cab Daddy in accordance with these Terms. If you create an account on behalf of a business or other entity, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that entity to this Agreement.
3. Closing Your Account
Either you or Cab Daddy may terminate this Agreement at any time, for any reason.
You may close your account by providing notice to Cab Daddy. Cab Daddy reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without prior notice. If Cab Daddy terminates a paid account without cause, you will be entitled to a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of your current billing period. In all other cases, no refunds will be issued.
Accounts that remain suspended for more than nine (9) months will be permanently terminated without further notice. Upon termination, all associated data will be permanently deleted. You are solely responsible for exporting and backing up your data prior to account deletion.
4. Account Security and Passwords
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, including your email address and password. You are fully responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not such activity was authorised by you.
You must notify Cab Daddy immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised access or suspicious activity on your account. Cab Daddy is not liable for any losses or damages resulting from unauthorised account access or password compromise. For security reasons, Cab Daddy does not have access to your password and can only assist by providing password reset instructions.
By creating an account, you confirm that all information provided is accurate, complete, and kept up to date at all times, including your contact details.
5. Changes to the Terms and Service
Cab Daddy reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time by publishing an updated version on the Cab Daddy website. Updated Terms take effect immediately upon publication and apply to both existing and new Members, unless you choose to terminate your account. Cab Daddy may also modify, update, restrict, or discontinue the Service, including any features or Add-ons, at any time.
6. Account Disputes
Cab Daddy does not intervene in internal disputes related to account ownership or access. All disputes must be resolved directly between the involved parties.
We will only communicate with and provide account information to the recognised account owner. Ownership is determined based on the information provided at the time of account registration and payment. If multiple individuals or entities are listed in the account details, Cab Daddy assumes that all internal disputes have been resolved without our involvement.
Payments
7. Paid Monthly Plans
When selecting a paid monthly plan, you must choose a package based on your anticipated use and expected number of drivers. You agree to pay recurring monthly fees starting from activation. The first payment must be made in advance.
8. Drivers
Only drivers assigned at least one job during a billing cycle count towards your limit. Others are not included in the total.
9. Free Plans
Upgrade is required before exceeding limits. Once upgraded to a paid plan, reverting to free is not permitted.
10. Debit & Credit Cards
Valid card details are required. If payment fails, accounts may be suspended until settled. reactivation occurs during standard working hours.
11. Refunds
- Termination by Cab Daddy: Pro-rata refund for unused prepaid months.
- Custom Development: Refund only if project is cancelled/not delivered.
No other refunds are available.
12. Charges for Add-Ons
Add-ons may incur additional fees, billed per cycle. Setup fees may be required upfront.
13. Billing Changes
Pricing may be modified at any time. Changes will be published on our website or sent via email.
Rights & Proprietary Info
Cab Daddy retains all proprietary and intellectual property rights in the Service. All submitted Content remains your property, but you grant us permission to use it to provide the Service.
14. Feedback
Voluntary feedback grants Cab Daddy a perpetual, worldwide licence to use and modify it for any purpose without compensation.
Liability & Disclaimers
16. Limitation of Liability
Cab Daddy's total aggregate liability in any calendar month shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the immediately preceding month.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
17. No Warranties: The service is provided "as-is" and "as-available".
18. Indemnity: You agree to defend and hold Cab Daddy harmless from claims arising from your use of the service or breach of terms.
